MY SOLUTION & DESIGNS

I created a simple design that played on the recognisable feature of the orange backwards slash splitting the two works that make up the name of the company.

Remaining with in the colour scheme supplied by the brief as well as what I had gathered from the companies webpage, I came up with a layout the suited the simplistic requirements however remained with, what i feel, the company displayed by looking at the aesthetics of their webpage.

I applied this layout to a mock file to get an idea of how they would look in real life and real dimensions.

On the mock up it gave the option to apply colour to the edging if the business card and I thought that it would be a nice touch to apply the vivid orange colour to the rim. i think this adds a sense of quality.

I carried on playing with the use of the backward slash component of the logo supplied by the brief.

I also looked into applying different colours to the card to see ho this would effect the presence and feel of the business card.

I applied different colours to this design to create new combinations and appearances.

I submitted 5 designs for the business card requirements, however I felt that I should try and push further by creating further possibilities for the print side of this company.

Using a mock up file I created additional letterheads and other possible components in the style of my personal favourite business card design I had previously come up with.

For the letter head I used the backwards slash feature and applied it to the background of the letter at a low opacity. I also used this feature when displaying the contact details t the bottom of the page. The name at the bottom of the letter is alight to the gradient of the backward slash and the logo at the top of the page also lines up with this with the slash within the logo lining up in the centre of the larger one.

This how the office supplies would appear when created through the aesthetics of the business card I had chosen as my preference. I also submitted this design.
