EMPEZAR / BEAN TO BAR.
THE ESTABLISHMENT.
I looked into mocking up some aspects of the establishment that would present the ethos and aesthetic of the brand. I have looked at interiors of other places that hold a similar feel to what I am looking to achieve on my Context blog. I started by looking at a shop fronts and adapting an existing one into the Empezar chocolate shop cafe.
I added the integral colour of the brand onto the wood work surrounding the windows and doors and placed the logo over the top of the stop. I also added the pattern to the windows and placed the logo on this as well as the slogan.
I picked up a dining set that is intended to hold tapas, however I saw it and thought that it would be a great way to present how the Empezar establishment would go about supplying there delicacies with in the cafe. Im a similar way to Tapas, this will allow the customer to try many different things that are all originating for the natural and organic produce that Empezar specialises in.
I placed different types of chocolate foods in to this dining set and started to take pictures which could then be adapted later on.
Im really happy with how this looks and even though I would like to elaborate further on things like this that would be a part of the in house branding, I feel that I can implement some visuals onto this images.
Using my favourite photo, I added to the image and branding the content with in the image in order to make it recognisable and unique to the Empezar brand.
I am happy with this image and I feel it gives an idea of how the cafe would work in give ring the customer an experience of the produce that is derived from the most natural form.

I looked at trying to mock up some examples of how this could work whether it be through images put directly onto a wall or whether it be in poster forms.
I liked the effect of having the imagery painted in like a poster edged style onto the brick walls and felt this added to the natural ethos of the brand. Having the raw brickwork of the building reflects the striping back of the produce I am trying to put across to the audience.
I thought using chalk boards could also be a good way of displaying information because this is also is a more organic and traditional method of drawing and presenting information.
I chose this proposed interior because of the wooden furniture and wall decor. I feel that this also reflects the natural feel and ethos of the company but also keeps the interior light and airy which is important when sitting tasting and experiencing different types of food as of cause you want to see and inspect your food.
I looked into branding some of the upholstery and furniture pieces to add attention to detail in and around the establishment.
These pieces of decor are made from the same burlap material that is incorporated in the product ad packaging side of the brand. The colours pattern and logo keeps the branding flowing through the establishment.
I created some business cards that have been create using the letterpress process to reflect the hands on an natural feel of the company.
The main reason for this company to have a webpage would be to educate and inform the audience what our values are and why and how we implement these through out every stage of our produce. This will include information on the plantations we farther our produce from and the people who work here along with the fair share of profits.
Showing how our products are manufactured through every step of the process is important so the audience can see exactly how these things are made and what goes in to each and every product.
The layout of the information would be simple and again very image based when talking about the origin of the produce so we portray a very open and confident ethos.
