BEAR CEREAL / COLLABORATIVE BRIEF.
DESIGN BOARDS & SUBMISSION.

I took on the task of creating the design boards that are need for the submission to the YCN competition.

Before the submission date, we also had a crit based on the design boards we need for the submission. Unfortunately Sarah was un-well and couldn't attend this crit. The only boards I had managed to do in time for the crit are the character development board, the concept board for the chameleon and the examples of the mock up boxes.

The concept board explains our ideas on the characters and what the educational aim is as well as how the audience are to interact with the characters and the facts that are interpreted throughout that game.

The individual character boards will explain the concept behind each of the characters and how the game, facts and cut outs work. It also shows the imagery used to enhance the subject. (There will be a board for each character).

The third board shows the concept and visuals in a real life format in order for the design to be seen the way it is intended.

FEEDBACK
The feedback I got for the boards was overall positive.

- The theme and layout of the board is very reminiscent of the actual product.
- The information given is to the point and explains the concept well.
- The illustrations are strong and very well executed.

- Make sure you check the spelling on each board.
- Make sure the boards are numbered and names properly
- Make sure the background colours are consistent.

Taking on board the feedback given at the crit I improved and carried on with the creation of the boards ready for submission.

ON THE BOX
I sent the designs and content to Sarah to make sure that she was happy with the boards I had put together. She was happy with the boards so I then converted them into PDF's ready for them to be sent for submission.

I am really happy with these design boards and I think that that portray not only the aesthetic sarah and I have worked on and executed, but also the ethos that the Bear cereal company already possess.
